Project Objectives

The main objective of this project is to design and implement a honeypot-based cybersecurity platform that enables users to deploy, monitor, and analyze attack activities in a controlled environment.

The system provides a structured framework for capturing real-world attack data and transforming it into actionable security intelligence.

Sub-objectives:

  1. To analyze the limitations of existing intrusion detection and monitoring systems and identify the need for a proactive honeypot-based approach.

  2. To develop a platform that allows users to deploy and manage honeypots while collecting structured attack data such as logs, payloads, and behavioral patterns.

  3. To implement interactive features including dashboards, user profiles, alerts, and categorized attack logs.

  4. To evaluate the system’s effectiveness in providing reliable, organized, and research-oriented cybersecurity intelligence.
